Lutein and zeaxanthin
Two pigments from the carotenoid family, which filter blue light, neutralize free radicals generated by sunlight.
Eye protection; present in the macula in very high concentrations in the central part of the retina of the eye, lutein and zeaxanthin protects against age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Dermatological protection; Lutein and zeaxanthin very effectively increase the quantity of lipids (fats) present on the surface of the skin, improving tolerance to the sun, in particular protection against ultraviolet (sunburn).
